Wrapped gemstone macrame bracelet

This macrame bracelet has a natural obsidian stone wrapped with wax cord. It’s handcrafted with Linhasita wax thread, in my experience, the best thread for this type of macrame bracelet. It has a thin layer of wax that prevents thread color from fading out.
I’ve mix together brown thread with different shades of blue and bronze metal beads to create an original ethnic cuff. It’s a unique piece of jewelry that you only will own. The bracelet fits your wrist perfectly by adjusting the slipknot.

One size fits all: bracelet length is 15 cm (6 inches). It fits most people because it is adjustable with a sliding knot. The bracelet has enough extra cord on the ends so that you can open it and pass it through your hand.
Stone size: 2.2 cm diameter (0.8 inches)
Bracelet width: 3 cm (1.2 inches)

If you doubt if this size fits you, or if this ethnic bracelet is a gift and you don’t know the wrist size of the person, please, contact me before buying.

Black obsidian, a special semi-precious stone

Contrary to what is commonly believed, obsidian is a volcanic crystal, not a mineral. It is formed by the rapid cooling of volcanic magma, with no time for the minerals to crystallize. It can be more or less opaque or translucent. In particular the obsidian in this bracelet is quite translucent.
Like many other rocks, it is believed to have energetic and spiritual properties. Among them, it is said to help dissolve and transform negative energy. It is mostly associated with the zodiac sign of Capricorn.
